*TOXIC*

You bloomed to attack,

Just to feed on others,

Insect eating plant you became,

So toxic to the roots,

Damn! You’ve terrified me.

I was to blossom,

You did the impossible to kill me,

A drop of your acid,

Has intoxicated my leaves,

Making my beauty fade.

Unwanted I’ve become,

I still have some admirers,

They ain’t picky,

Since they love unpleasant smell,

They are winged, namely flies.

Rot be my nickname,

I’m a dump site,

Worms and pigs be my friends,

They accepted as I am,

Unlike some of you.
